William J. Burke, III is a founding member of Unruh, Turner, Burke & Frees, and has been practicing law in Chester County for over twenty-five years. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate and business acquisitions, taxation and general business representation of closely held companies, and IRS § 1031 exchanges. Mr. Burke represents privately held commercial and residential real estate developers and real estate entrepreneurs in connection with the acquisition, sale, financing and development of commercial properties and land intended for residential, commercial or retail development. This includes structuring and creating residential and commercial condominiums and planned communities. In addition, he represents financial institutions as well as borrowers in connection with the documentation and closing of construction, acquisition and other financing. Mr. Burke was named a "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer" in Philadelphia Magazine by Super Lawyers©, a Thomson Reuters Company (2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010), and a Top Lawyer by Main Line Today Magazine (2007 and 2009, and 2010).
