Denise C. Werkley, Esquire, principal of the law firm of Unruh Turner Burke & Frees, P.C., was a workshop presenter on Saturday November 14, 2009 at the Chester County Women’s Commission conference entitled “Women Mean Business”. The conference was devoted to providing practical advice and guidance for potential entrepreneurs. Ms. Werkley was part of a panel on Business Basics which included legal, accounting and financial advisors. The Chester County Women’s Commission was created by the Commissioners of Chester County on December 13, 1993 to identify and advance the diverse needs and interests of the women of Chester County.
Ms. Werkley also recently presented a workshop at the Women in Business Expo hosted by the Women’s Referral Network of Chester County. The workshop, entitled “Sustaining Business Relationships,” focused on practical tips for building business and client relationships, and for maintaining those relationships throughout your career and was co-presented with Suzanne Jackson, CPA of the accounting firm Stephano Slack. The Women’s Referral Network promotes business opportunities for and among women. Ms. Werkley is the immediate past-president of the WRN and their 2009 Business Woman of the Year.
Ms. Werkley concentrates her law practice in real estate and commercial and business transactions.
