Theodore F. Claypoole

Theodore F. Claypoole, a partner of Unruh Turner Burke & Frees, primarily represents businesses, tax-exempt entities, lending institutions, and commercial and residential real estate developers and landlords. Mr. Claypoole is active in his community, presently serving as a member of the Historic Commission for West Brandywine Township and previously serving as Chairman of the Planning Commission for Sadsbury Township and as a member on the Township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance Committee, Act 209 Study Committee, and Zoning Ordinance Committee. From 2008 through 2009, Mr. Claypoole served as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association LLC Standard Forms Task Force and in that role, contributed to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s publication, Pennsylvania LLC Documents (William H. Clark, Jr., Ed., 2d ed. 2010, PBI Press).

Mr. Claypoole has been named a “Top Lawyer” by Main Line Today magazine, over multiple years, and he has also been recognized as a leading attorney by Suburban Life magazine. He has received the preeminent “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognizing superior legal ability as judged by his peers, and has been named a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2010 through 2013 . Mr. Claypoole was named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” in 2010 by the Legal Intelligencer.
