Theodore F. Claypoole

Theodore F. Claypoole is a shareholder and the Chair of the firm’s Business Practice Group. Theo represents businesses in all stages of development, including formation, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance, and in day-to-day general corporate matters. He advises clients in a wide range of industries, including commercial and residential real estate, automotive, industrial/manufacturing, and financial services.

Theo is active in his community, presently serving as a board member of the Housing Authority of the County of Chester and as a member of the Historic Commission for West Brandywine Township.

Mr. Claypoole has been named a “Top Lawyer” by Main Line Today magazine, over multiple years, and he has also been recognized as a leading attorney by Suburban Life magazine. He has received the preeminent “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognizing superior legal ability as judged by his peers, and has been named a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2010 through 2013 .
