The Chester County Bar Foundation Law Day Ceremony took place on May 1, 2026, at the Chester County Justice Center. Law Day was established in 1958 by Dwight D. Eisenhower to celebrate the rule of law and to call attention to the principles and practice of American law and justice. The 2026 Law Day theme, “The Declaration of Independence: Ideas that Shaped a Nation,” commemorated the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Amanda Sundquist, Chair of the 2026 Law Day Event and Poster Art Contest Committee, worked closely with Chester County Bar Association staff and fellow committee members to plan the event. She also had the pleasure of presenting recognition for the Law Day Poster Art Contest to student participants in elementary and middle school from across Chester County.
