Unruh Turner Burke & Frees is proud to continue its longstanding tradition of supporting local students by awarding scholarships to three graduating seniors from the West Chester Area School District. The firm awarded $1,000 scholarships to outstanding students from each of the district’s three high schools: West Chester East High School, Bayard Rustin High School, and B. Reed Henderson High School, to support their pursuit of higher education.
The scholarship program reflects an enduring tradition at Unruh Turner Burke & Frees. Each year, the firm awards scholarships to West Chester Area School District students selected by their respective schools, recognizing academic achievement and the ambition to build on it. The program is one of several ways the firm works to give back to the community it has called home for more than three decades.
Students can apply through their respective guidance counselors in early spring, prior to graduation. The firm requires that recipients maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a four-year college or university. From there, each school follows its own selection process to identify its recipient.
Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients, and best wishes to all members of the Class of 2026 as you celebrate this milestone and embark on your next chapter.
