Unruh Turner Burke & Frees estate litigation attorney Lauren A. Nehra recently served as a panelist during the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Annual Conference of County Bar Leaders, held on February 27, 2026.
The session, titled “War Stories: Leadership Lessons from the Revolution for Bar Leaders,” explored how lessons from the American Revolution can inform leadership within the legal profession today. As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the discussion focused on themes such as courage, collaboration, innovation, sacrifice, and resilience, and how those qualities relate to the responsibility of bar leaders to strengthen their organizations and support the rule of law.
Panelists discussed the role that bar associations play in supporting attorneys, growing membership, and safeguarding the institutions that uphold justice. The program encouraged participants to reflect on leadership, stewardship, and the ongoing responsibility of the legal profession to protect constitutional principles.
Lauren presently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Chester County Bar Association and is an active Board member on the Board of Directors. She spoke alongside of panelists Heather Cevasco, Executive Director of the Bucks County Bar Association; Daniel C. McKenrick, Past President of the Centre County Bar Association and Zone 10 Governor of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; and Tiffany Wise, Executive Director of the Beaver County Bar Association.
The discussion was moderated by Greg Nardi, Executive Director of the Chester County Bar Association and President of the Pennsylvania Association of Bar Executives.
